Checks are in the mail from an Ashley Furniture settlement resolving claims the furniture retailer used false sale prices to deceive consumers into making purchases.
The settlement benefits consumers who purchased products from Ashley Furniture that were advertised at a discount from a “regular” or “original” price between April 13, 2018, and March 31, 2022, online or between March 9, 2017, and March 31, 2022, in-store.
According to the class action lawsuit, Ashley Furniture tricked consumers into thinking they were getting a good deal on purchases by using false or inflated reference prices. Plaintiffs argue the “sale” items were never sold at these reference prices.
Ashley Furniture agreed to a class action lawsuit settlement to resolve the claims. Under the terms of the settlement, claimants could receive a $30 voucher. Our viewers recently received these vouchers from the settlement.
The deadline to submit a claim with the settlement was Dec. 23, 2023.

Pulsz gambling websites class action rebates

The settlement benefits Kentucky residents who spent $5 or more within a 24-hour period between Oct. 2, 2020, and Nov. 3, 2022, on pulsz.com or between July 20, 2022, and Feb. 9, 2023, on pulszbingo.com.
Plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit claim Yellow Social Interactive violated Kentucky law by operating gambling websites such as Pulsz. These websites allegedly used in-game currency purchased with real money, making the websites real, unsanctioned gambling.
Under the terms of the settlement, class members could receive a cash payment based on the amount they spent on Pulsz gambling websites. Our readers report receiving settlement checks in the mail worth up to $3,625.43.
The deadline to submit a claim with the settlement was Jan. 29, 2024.
The Pulsz gambling website class action lawsuit is Whiting v. Yellow Social Interactive Ltd., Case No. 2023-CI-00358, in the Kentucky Circuit Court for Henderson County.
TTEC Health Net data breach settlement checks
Our viewers received payments from a $2.5 million settlement with TTEC Services and Health Net resolving claims they failed to prevent a 2021 data breach.
The settlement benefits individuals whose personal information TTEC stored and whose information the data breach compromised between March 2021 and September 2021.
According to the class action lawsuit, TTEC and Health Net could have prevented the breach by implementing reasonable cybersecurity measures. Due to this negligence, hackers allegedly gained access to sensitive patient data.
TTEC and Health Net agreed to pay $2.5 million to resolve the data breach class action lawsuit. Under the terms of the settlement, claimants could receive flat rate payments of up to $200 and up to $5,000 in expense reimbursement. Crunchyroll privacy class action rebates

The settlement benefits consumers who subscribed to Crunchyroll or viewed videos on Crunchyroll’s website or mobile app.
Plaintiffs in the case claim Crunchyroll shared their information with third parties such as Facebook, Google and Adobe. Crunchyroll allegedly failed to get consumer consent before sharing this information, thereby violating the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA).
Under the terms of the settlement, claimants could receive an estimated $30 payment. Consumers recently received checks and electronic payments of $31.24 from this settlement.

The Crunchyroll privacy class action lawsuit is Beltran, et al. v. Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. d/b/a Crunchyroll, Case No. 1:22-cv-04858, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Whirlpool leaky dishwasher settlement checks
Our readers report checks in the mail from a $21 million settlement with Whirlpool resolving claims the brand’s dishwashers are prone to leaks.
The settlement benefits consumers who purchased certain Whirlpool dishwashers between 2010 and 2018.
According to the class action lawsuit, Whirlpool dishwashers may come with faulty seals that cause the appliances to leak. Plaintiffs in the case claim Whirlpool knew about the defect but failed to warn them of the problem.
Under the terms of the settlement, consumers could receive up to $250 in reimbursement for repairs and other expenses. Top Class Actions readers reportedly received payments of up to $225 from this settlement.
The deadline to submit a claim with the settlement was July 26, 2022.
The Whirlpool dishwasher class action lawsuit is Cleveland, et al. v. Whirlpool Corporation, Case No. 20-cv-1906-WMW-KMM, in the U.S. District Court District of Minnesota.
Caribbean Cruise TCPA class action rebates
Top Class Actions viewers report receiving payments from a TCPA class action settlement with Caribbean Cruise Line resolving claims the cruise company bombarded consumers with robocalls.
The settlement benefits consumers who received a robocall from or on behalf of Caribbean Cruise Line between August 2011 and August 2012 that offered them a free cruise in exchange for taking surveys.
Plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit claim Caribbean Cruise Line failed to get their consent before contacting them with robocalls. These calls allegedly violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Under the terms of the settlement, consumers could receive up to $500 per phone call. One of our readers reportedly received $10.40 in the third round of distributions from this settlement.
The deadline to submit a claim with the settlement was Feb. 1, 2017.

How about walmart online would not remove a charge they wanted to bill me for shopping bags that they don’t charge any person who pays with snap for and due to significant injuries i am so poor and not able to walk since july of 2023 so i had to use the walmart online to have a friend pick up for me but couldnt cause i didnt have money for bags and they didnt care they offered to give me a 5$ credit that was not for bag fees but for use at the store but i paid for my groceries and purchased nothing else so i was still being charged for bags but when i talked to a bunch of people and asked to not use the bags stating id bring bins they said they cant do that but they also use bins i stated so they said yeah but we cant label our bins with your name and just come into a local store and you wont be charged. That comment which is infuriating as i cant walk with a broken hip, shattered pelvis, broken tibia and fibula, titanium rod screws bolts and plate reconstructed pelvis ankle hip bolted leg with the rod and secure by screws plate in my pelvis attached to my hip by bolts broken ribs punctured lung and a tbi that had caused me a coma and amnesia but yeah let me just get right over there to shop it up. I am furious. What BS. Sorry to vent but I do kinda feel better now. Lol. Seriously that was a release. I already feel like a bum now that I cant work or clean or cook or do much of the things I always do and Im an overachiever as a USC grad as of 2018 and a single mom of a 19 yr old who I support alone and am in such an awful position so believe that the food was needed and to have such a wealthy company act like i was just another degenerate, which needing help does not make up btw and snap doesnt either but they just said that I needed to pay for my bags which was unnerving when it was followed up with a or just come in and you wont be. Just!!! Just nothing! Im just injured and almost died thanks. Ok done ranting. Hope everyone is healthy happy and if nothing else doing better than i feel. God gave me my life so I am grateful and walmart cant eat beans. Meaning a 4 letter word ending with an IT bet you can imagine what im thinking. Cheers y’all. Stay safe.
