Good morning, Awesome TCA Viewers!
I hope your week is off to great start! Scott is in Maui now for the AAJ conference. I was supposed to be there with him but my little guy woke up with a nasty case of Croup the night before I was supposed to leave. If you’ve ever heard a Croup cough, you know what a scary sound that is. If you never have, imagine the sound of a barking seal who can’t breathe…it’s awful! Luckily, I knew exactly what it was and didn’t panic (too much). I was hoping to nurse him back to health in time to fly out to the conference a few days late but his little body had other plans. Such is the life of a working mom. Oh well! I hope to catch up with all our attorney clients/friends at the Mass Torts Made Perfect (MTMP) Conference in April.
Speaking of working moms, there are a lot of us here at Top Class Actions. Scott has fostered a great environment for us and I feel lucky to have a job that allows me to be the VP of a company and still be present for my child. Not many bosses are as understanding as Scott when you have to cancel a work trip to care for a sick child. But he has children of his own, and a wife he respects very much, so he is supportive of the working moms on his staff. So, kudos to Scott and to all the other great bosses out there who support their employees!
Now, on to a few more settlement and lawsuit updates:
That’s all for now! Make it a GREAT week!
Warm Regards,
Sarah Mirando
VP of Operations
