Advocate Aurora Health agreed to a settlement worth more than $12.2 million to resolve a class action lawsuit claiming it compromised patient data by using pixel tracking tools on its websites, LiveWell app and MyChart portal to share sensitive health information with third parties.Â
The class action lawsuit settlement benefits consumers who visited Advocate Aurora’s websites, LiveWell App or MyChart patient portal between Oct. 24, 2017, and Oct. 22, 2022.

I had an appendectomy at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital during September 2018 and had follow-up treatment afterwards due to complications. So I definitely accessed the systems during this time period.
They make it difficult to be included in this and don’t seem like they are trying which should be due diligence. I didn’t receive a postcard or an email about it and I confirmed I have accounts for that entire timeframe that are active. Then I went to the settlement website and they don’t have a lookup tool. So then I called the administrator number they provide for any help and there isn’t an option to get a live person or a prompt to ask for it automated somehow… so I left a voicemail for a callback which was the option I had left. We’ll see if I get a call back ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
