Class Members who participated in the MoGreet text spam class action settlement should be receiving payments sometime in mid June, according to court documents.
The MoGreet class action settlement was granted final approval on April 3, putting an end to allegations the mobile text platform allowed nearly two dozen retailers to send spam text messages to consumers that contained advertisements. Retailers included Burger King, Cash America, Charlotte Russe, Cox, Domino’s Pizza, Gamefly, Jack in the Box, Mattel, and many more.
Class Members who received a text message from one of these retailers were eligible to submit a claim by June 2, 2014 to receive up to $105 from the class action settlement.
According to the terms of the MoGreet settlement, the Settlement Administrator will issue payments to eligible Class Members within 70 days after the class action settlement has been finally approved and/or after any appeals have been resolved in favor of the settlement.
As of June 4, court records for the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, Chancery Division, where the MoGreet class action lawsuit was litigated, did not show an appeal had been filed. That means settlement checks should be issued by June 12.
No further information on the status of the MoGreet settlement check distribution has been posted to the Settlement website: www.lockettclassaction.com.

You people need jobs or hobbies or something
it was nice you could take time from your busy schedule to search for this site and comment.
I told you they had figured out a way not to pay. checks would be under $5 so they are not sending any. sorry
that issue is crazy!!!
spoke to some young guy and was told that some checks have been processed and that if the checks weren’t more than $5 they were not going to send any
all the checks would be for the same amount
They’re are no checks. They’ve appealed last minute.
Not so !!!
Any updates?
Freedom ain’t free it costs a buck 0-5
no haven’t called no haven’t got a check yet are there any good updates !!!
I suggest others do the same. The worst that can happen is I will not get a response, the best scenario, someone responds and also contacts the settlement administrator to get them to follow the court’s orders. Either way, I will not be wasting my time calling the settlement administrator to listen to their nonsense!
Clearly, all the comments & calling is not working. Apparently, they have decided to take down their website, give vague answers and no specific dates. However, the court information is still available. The case number is 2013-CH-21352. The Judge is Neil H. Cohen. The address is 50 W. Washington St Rm 2308 Chicago, IL 60602
Personally, I intend to
write a letter to the Court to ask for more specific information and why it’s ok for the settlement administrator to take down their website & not keep consumers informed about the status of our claims.
not yet!!
