Class Members who participated in the MoGreet text spam class action settlement should be receiving payments sometime in mid June, according to court documents.
The MoGreet class action settlement was granted final approval on April 3, putting an end to allegations the mobile text platform allowed nearly two dozen retailers to send spam text messages to consumers that contained advertisements. Retailers included Burger King, Cash America, Charlotte Russe, Cox, Domino’s Pizza, Gamefly, Jack in the Box, Mattel, and many more.
Class Members who received a text message from one of these retailers were eligible to submit a claim by June 2, 2014 to receive up to $105 from the class action settlement.
According to the terms of the MoGreet settlement, the Settlement Administrator will issue payments to eligible Class Members within 70 days after the class action settlement has been finally approved and/or after any appeals have been resolved in favor of the settlement.
As of June 4, court records for the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, Chancery Division, where the MoGreet class action lawsuit was litigated, did not show an appeal had been filed. That means settlement checks should be issued by June 12.
No further information on the status of the MoGreet settlement check distribution has been posted to the Settlement website: www.lockettclassaction.com.

I just called 888-985-9195 and after 12 min of being on hold “Chelsea” told me they had no info on cks going out but she sure as heck wated to know all of my info and who told me cks were to go out on 6/12. She also was clueless as to why the website was down. I got the same BS about 70 days. She was very evasive w/ actually answering any questions.
70 days from the EFFECTIVE date of settlement, not June 2. Pretty standard yet, most claim admins have a hard time following courts orders.
Why
70 days from when June 2? If that is the case then you wont get a check until. Sometime in October 2014
They’ve taken their website down-that’s not a good sign.
Why?
the checks have not went out yet but the administrator states that yesterday was the 70th day
No check on 6/13 if they supposedly were going to send on 6/12
today was the 73rd day wondering what their days are? don’t count weekends or what? if that case if you take off eight days for April=22 days May=23 June=22 totaling 77days so that means later this month or next month
I talked to a representative from the claims administrator that no checks were issued today….they said 70 business days from April…If thats the case, then we would be looking at receiving checks sometime in July…
I was told that were nearing the 70 day mark then checks will be issued
