Baby ShampooIf you purchased Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Shampoo or Wal-Mart brand Equate Tearless Baby Wash, you may want to stop using it. A class action lawsuit has been approved this month that claims these products may contain a toxin linked to cancer.

The class action lawsuit, filed earlier this year, accuses Johnson & Johnson and Wal-Mart Stores of selling shampoo and baby wash that allegedly contains methylene chloride, an ingredient banned by the FDA in cosmetics because it’s linked to cancer. The law firm that filed the lawsuit is also investigating Target’s Night-time Bath and Body Wash, which is not currently named in the suit.

A third Johnson & Johnson plant is now also under investigation for alleged quality concerns. The new Johnson & Johnson plant is one that manufactures Pepcid and Mylanta among other products.

Did you all forget that there is a CSPC (Child Care Product Safety) and the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in the U.S. that would PULL an unsafe product and issue a nationwide warning about it if this were TRUE?

  5. Jesse Barry says:

Just remember… If it’s not safe to injest, then why put it on your skin. Your skin is the largest organ of the body without a filter, therefore, whatever is rubbed onto your skin, has a greater chance of being absorbed straight into your bloodstream.

In the uk midwives tell you to avoid johnson products at all costs. The problem with these ingredients is the long term damage to your childs health. So for those of you who have been using them for the 5 yrs with no reaction its not now but maybe 20 30 years time. Always go for certified organic, never just organic as the chances are it isn’t. Oh and arbonne is def not natural!! Funny how their ingredients are never disclosed on the website!! I have friends who are ex consultants who have products still in their cupboards and they had parabens, petro chemicals etc in even when they were told by their managers they didn’t! !! Do your own research, always analyse your ingredients list on line.
