A federal court has approved the iRenew Bracelet class action settlement. Settlement checks will be mailed to eligible Class Members by April 30, 2013, according to an update posted to the Settlement Administrator website.
California Superior Court Judge Kenneth R. Freeman granted final approval to the iRenew Bracelet settlement on March 1, 2013, finding it to be “fair, adequate and reasonable.” Class Members that submitted valid claims postmarked by the deadline of October 1, 2012, will receive one of the following benefits:
Full Reimbursement – Class Members who submitted a valid receipt, credit card statement or other valid Proof of Purchase will receive reimbursement for up to seven bracelets, including shipping and handling.
$19.95 Cash Refund – Class Members who did not have valid Proof of Purchase but still had their bracelet and returned it will receive a cash reimbursement of $19.95 per iRenew Bracelet(s) returned, up to a maximum of seven returned bracelets. Class Members who do not have Proof of Purchase or the iRenew Bracelet will receive a one-time payment of $19.95 if they submitted an affirmation, under penalty of perjury, that such a product was purchased.
The settlement resolves two class action lawsuits alleging the bracelets were falsely advertised as being able to promote balance, strength and endurance.
The cases are Seryl Litwin, et al. v. iRenew BioEnergy Solutions, LLC, Case No. BC447114 and April Garton, et al. v. Harvest Trading Group, Inc., et al., Case No. BC452682 in Los Angeles Superior Court.

UPDATE: A California appeals court ruled May 28, 2014, that the iRenew bracelet class action settlement should be reversed. It also found that $27,000 in unclaimed settlement money was not distributed to Class Members, and ordered the parties to come up with a distribution plan.

I sent in a claim form along with the receipt and purchase slip that was charged to my credit card. To this day I have still not received any cheque. Could that be because I live in Canada or is this just a big scam. This is Sept 10, 2013 and still no reimbursement.
It is now July 19, I submitted all of the required documentation and still am awaiting a check. Wonder if it’s all legitimate??
Today is June 3. Still no refund yet!
I have not received my check as of May 28,2013. Please let me hear from you by email.
