Target Corporation has reportedly issued a recall for some of its Cloud Island plush toy sets due to a potential choking hazard.
The Target recall was issued on Dec. 1, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, and affects Target Cloud Island 4-piece plush toy sets.
The plush vehicles in the Target Cloud Island toy sets include a blue car, a yellow bus, a red tractor, and a green truck. Each vehicle contains a rattle inside.
The tires on the toy vehicles can reportedly detach and pose a choking risk, according to the Target recall notice.
Consumers can return recalled Target Cloud Island plush toy sets for a full refund
The recalled Target Cloud Island toy sets were reportedly sold at Target stores and at target.com from March through August 2022 for about $20 each. Item number 030-02-1042 is printed on the fabric tag attached to the bottom of each vehicle affected by the Target recall.
The Target recall notice states that there have been four reports of tires detaching from the plush vehicles, but no injuries have been reported so far.
Approximately 23,400 Target Cloud Island toy sets are affected by the recall.
Due to the potential choking risk, consumers should immediately take the Target Cloud Island toys away from young children. The recalled toys can be returned to any Target store for a full refund. Consumers may also contact Target for a prepaid return label to return the recalled toys by mail.
The recalled Target Cloud Island toy sets were manufactured in China. The Target recall number for these toys is 23-060.
In November, some Mockingbird strollers sold at Target were recalled due to a fall hazard.
