A pair of recalls for children’s mattresses sold exclusively on Amazon.com were announced late last month over suffocation concerns.

The recalls, which were each published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Nov. 30, involve around 820 Vibe Bear Playyard Mattresses produced by retailer Beyond Baby and about 1,650 DODO Baby House Pack and Play Mattresses

Both recalls were over concerns the recalled children’s mattresses violated several provisions of the federal safety regulation for crib mattresses, including failing the thickness test and missing warnings and labels, posing a suffocation hazard to infants.

No injuries have been reported in connection with either of the recalls, with both the companies and Amazon saying they are contacting all purchasers directly.
