Children’s nightgowns recall overview:

  • Who: China-based importer iMOONZZZ recalled around 13,000 children’s nightgowns sold exclusively on Amazon.
  • Why: The company initiated the recall over concerns the children’s nightgowns pose a burn risk to children by failing to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear.
  • Where: The children’s nightgowns recall affects consumers nationwide.

China-based brand iMOONZZZ announced a recall for around 13,300 children’s nightgowns sold exclusively on Amazonover concerns they fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear.

The recall, which the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission published Nov. 9, includes four styles of iMOONZZZ brand children’s nightgowns sold in sizes 3-4T, 5-6 years, 6-7 years, 7-8 years, 8-9 years and 10-12 years.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled nightgowns away from children. To receive a full refund, individuals should cut the garment in half, take a photo and email it to iMOONZZZ, then dispose of it, the recall states.

Upon receipt of the photo, consumers will be issued a full refund of the purchase price,” the children’s nightgown recall says.

Children’s nightgowns sold on Amazon from March 2023-June 2023

The recalled children’s nightgowns were sold exclusively on amazon.com for between $20 and $29 from March 2023-June 2023 and include various styles, colors and fabric contents of nightgowns for girls, long vintage soft cotton sleepwear, full-length nightdresses and winter soft fleece long-sleeve sleepwear items.

Individuals who have more questions about the recall can contact iMOONZZZ directly online

A similar recall was initiated earlier this year for around 5,300 Arshiner brand children’s long-sleeved nightgowns over concerns the items failed to meet federal flammability standards
