Case Name
Larsen, et al. v. Trader Joe’s Company, Case No. 3:11-cv-05188-WHO, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Case Summary
The Trader Joe’s class action settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit that alleged certain Trader Joe’s products were improperly labeled, marketed, supplied and sold as “All Natural” and/or “100% Natural” even though they contained one or more of the allegedly synthetic ingredients: ascorbic acid, cocoa processed with alkali, sodium acid pyrophosphate, xanthan gum, vegetable monoglycerides and vegetable diglycerides.
Trader Joes denies the allegations and asserts that its products’ labels were truthful, not misleading, and consistent with the law. However, the company agreed to settle the class action lawsuit to avoid the expense, inconvenience and burden of protracted litigation. The proposed class action settlement was preliminarily approved in February.

Received a check in the mail today for $30. However, bank would not let me cash it because there was no place to endorse it on the back. Did anyone else have this problem? Very upset.
@Marsh, I’ve received quite a few of these postcard sized checks. I just sign the back where one would normally endorse. I’ve never had an issue.
Received a $34.06 postcard check in San Antonio, TX. Thanks to this site!
