Work out for me, work out for me
we all wear masks, metaphorically speaking.
Hell, my credit is all screwed up anyway. They can have my SSN! Maybe they’ll actually fix it. If not, I can always dispute the charges. Chaching!!!
send me your email dude
hector don’t, he’s a fraud. you’/ll only get hurt again
That is the most absurd thing an administrator site can every ask a person to fill out. I see a lawsuit against the administrators happening for this civil lawsuit. I wonder how the judge is going to react after hearing about this.
I don’t see any reason to give out my ssn# for any claim and definitely not for lousy $6 bucks. What does that have to do with getting payment, I never had to put information on any other claims.
They can hire me to audient the claim forms, no one would be denied who did file a timely form.
Why are they asking for SSI number for a 20 dollar hose??
I will not put my Social Security number on a lawsuit on line claim form it is information that there is no reason for anyone to have unless they are hiring me.
I agree with you Patricia especially for the amount of the claim. I don’t see any reason why they need it for that amount of money. Although I did put my SS# on 2 online claims that gave $700 and $3500. I was a little hesitant at first but glad I did.
$700 and $3500? I need to be following you!
Which ones were those Skip?
I agree too –thing is that will surely dismay many from applying thereby the company wins as
it will be paying out way less. Smart on their part. It actually should be not allowed. I’m surprised the
attorney that set this up would allow such a request.
It is completely legal to require TAX information for all payouts, plain and simple. It is INCOME and therefor taxable. They need your SSN or TAX ID to either send you IRS Form 1099 or to withhold INCOME TAX from the payout and pay it directly to the IRS. It is a well used tactic in this type of petty suit, to penalize the injured parties with the required TAXATION up front yet not repaying the TAXED price most paid. I paid $19.99 plus 9.8% sales tax in WA at Fred Myers for this hose, confusing it with a similar product. It failed and went to the recycler as Fred Myers would not refund the purchase after it was used.
These are claims for reimbursement money and not “income”! We have already paid once…that is enough!
