OK….So who is ready to initiate CLASS-ACTION against
Telebrands Pocket Hose Settlement Administrator ????

Plaintiff get a lot more $$$$ for their effort. So I think
one of us should submit this one for review !

  2. Albert says:

I hope you had your receipts. This is a pretty classic case of the lawyers making a great deal where the sued doesn’t have to pay much but the lawyers fee. Why would you need your social security number and need to ship the broken hose back along with receipts unless it is the typical semi scam like duracell batteries. That settlement is $50,000,000 and the consumer payout is $330000. About 6 tenths of 1%. Nice

I went to the website HoseSettlement.com where we were instructed to go to find out why we have to give our social security number – there’s no information about it anywhere on the website.

It does say, “Questions? Contact the Settlement Administrator at (866) 446-4667 or questions@hosesettlement.com.”

I called the number, went through every automated list of options in all the ways that could have possibly informed us about the SSI issue, and still there was nothing about it, nor any way to speak with a real human being. No way to reach an actual person to speak with. Shady.

  4. DMM says:

Surprisingly, I was able to squish 2 busted Pocket-Hoses into a USPS Flat Rate, padded envelope.

    Cost to ship = $5.70

Supposedly, the settlement will pay out $20 for each hose returned. Hope it’s not a total waste of time/money (!)
