MoGreet Text Spam Class Action Settlement

A settlement has been proposed in a class action lawsuit involving text messages sent from certain retail companies to consumers without their express consent. If you received a text message from one of these retailers, you may be entitled to a $105 payment from the class action settlement.

The MoGreet text spam settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit (Lockett v. MoGreet Inc.) that alleges certain retailers would send text message advertisements to consumers through MoGreet’s mobile platform or one of its affiliated service providers (YesMail Inc. and InfoGroup Inc.) in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

MoGreet denies the allegations but has agreed to settle the class action lawsuit to avoid the expense and uncertainty of trial.

    1. dana says:

Jennell, one could only guess. I just refuse to believe there is an error in the actual court order….but if 90 is how they interpret 70….I’m sure they have some kind of legal rambling they can use to make us see it the way they see it!
