Keurig has agreed to pay $31 million to resolve claims it violated antitrust laws by fixing the price of its Keurig K-Cup Portion Packs products.
The settlement benefits individuals who purchased Keurig K-Cup Portion Packs from retailers other than Keurig between Sept. 7, 2010, and Aug. 14, 2020, in all states other than Mississippi and Rhode Island; between March 24, 2011, and Aug. 14, 2020, in Mississippi; or between July 15, 2013, and Aug. 14, 2020, in Rhode Island.
Claims against Keurig were consolidated in June 2014. According to the plaintiffs in the eight consolidated class action lawsuits, Keurig violated antitrust laws in order to monopolize the market for single-serve coffee pods. This monopoly allegedly allowed the company to artificially fix the price of Keurig K-Cup Portion Packs products — subjecting consumers to financial strain that wouldn’t exist in a healthy market.
In December 2017, these claims were preserved by a federal judge who denied the company’s motion for dismissal.
Keurig has not admitted any wrongdoing in the case but has agreed to a $31 million Keurig K-Cup Portion Packs class action settlement. The settlement provides reimbursement for Keurig K-Cup purchases in the form of cash payments. Reimbursement rates will vary from 0.75% to 100% depending on the state the purchase was made in and whether proof of purchase was submitted with a claim.
In order to benefit from the settlement, Class Members must file a valid claim form by July 15, 2021. Proof of purchase of Keurig K-Cup purchases and information about these purchases (number of K-Cups purchased, price paid, state where purchase took place, brand name, etc.) is required to validate claims.
The deadline for exclusion is May 14, 2021. The deadline for objection is May 17, 2021. The final approval hearing for the settlement is scheduled for June 4, 2021.

Only 2 people so far got a check and posted, WOW!
They lying the payment date hasn’t been set yet
I got mine. 13.47
Not possible. Either it’s a lie or the check is for a different settlement
Venmo just hit!
I’m thinking they are getting $ from the second settlement- recyclable kcups. According to the website this is still not being paid out. Don’t know how they can pay out one that was submitted a year or two after the first one but it seems to be so.
Got my check! Only $45 though, disappointing since I turned in thousands of receipts.
Got mine too. Only $2.45. Disappointing

Upcoming Motions
The parties propose the following substantive motions practice for the BJ’s and WinnDixie Actions:
Plaintiffs BJ’s and Winn-Dixie intend to file a consolidated motion for summary
judgment. Plaintiffs also intend to file a consolidated Daubert motion against Keurig’s liability
expert, Dr. Kevin Murphy, and separate Daubert motions against Keurig’s damages expert, Dr.
Keith Ugone.
Keurig intends to file one concise, consolidated motion for summary judgment in the
BJ’s and Winn-Dixie Actions. Keurig also intends to file a Daubert motion against BJ’s
damages expert, Dr. Phillip Johnson, and against Winn-Dixie’s damages expert, Dr. Martin
Asher.
The parties will file pre-motion letters summarizing the bases for these motions on May
3, 2023, pursuant to the Scheduling Order ¶ 12(b). After filing the pre-motion letters, the parties
will meet and confer and submit a proposed scheduling order for summary judgment and
Daubert briefing. The parties propose a consolidated briefing schedule for the motions, with
briefing to commence once the Court enters the proposed scheduling order. The parties
anticipate a schedule of 45 days for opening briefs, 45 days for opposition briefs, and 30 days for
reply briefs.
Settlement
The parties believe that resolution of the anticipated summary
judgment and Daubert motions, discussed above, will assist with the resolution of BJ’s and
Winn-Dixie’s claims.
Looks like we have to wait a little while longer for payment… Make sure you check the settlement website for further updates.
The Court approved payment this week.
The claim administrator is calculating the payments and should have a date next week for a date on payments

I guess it will be within a year or much less fingers crossed!!!!!!!
Thanks for update
maybe two years
This was a lot of work to get together especially since I had hundreds of receipts and had to document all the details for everything. I sent it both ways. I’m expecting a decent payment and I’ve never received a word that even confirmed they received anything.
