Drew’s LLC has reportedly agreed to settle a class action lawsuit over allegations it labeled some of its products as “all natural” even though they contained synthetic ingredients.
If you purchased certain Drew’s All Natural salad dressings and/or marinades, you may be eligible to receive a cash refund from the class action settlement. The Drew’s products covered by this class action settlement include 12-ounce bottles of the following Drew’s salad dressings and marinades:
- Chipotle Ranch
- Creamy Buttermilk Ranch
- Greek Olive
- Honey Mustard
- Lemon Tahini Goddess
- Poppy Seed
- Raspberry
- Roasted Garlic & Peppercorn
- Romano Caesar
- Rosemary Balsamic
- Sesame Orange
- Shiitake Ginger
- Smoked Tomato
- Soy Ginger
- Thai Sesame Lime
- Thousand Island
The Drew’s class action lawsuit was filed by plaintiff Gherson Tovar in June 2016. Tovar took issue with Drew’s allegedly deceptive, unfair and false practices regarding the labeling of its All Natural Salad Dressings and Quick Marinades. The plaintiff claims that the products are not “all natural” because they contain citric acid and/or xanthan gum, which are both synthetic ingredients.
Tovar asserts that reasonable consumers would not expect to find synthetic ingredients in a product that is labeled as “all natural.” Even after reviewing the ingredients list, consumers would likely not be aware that xanthan gum and citric acid are not natural, the Drew’s class action lawsuit alleges.
Drew’s denies the allegations but agreed to settle the all natural class action lawsuit to avoid the expense and uncertainty of trial. The Drew’s class action settlement was preliminarily approved on Feb. 15, 2017.
Class Members who would like to opt out of or object to the Drew’s all natural settlement must do so no later than May 1, 2017.

Wonder what’s up with this settlement?
The website doesn’t work to check for updates
It is not known how quickly claims will be paid. There is both a toll free number and an email address listed above for the settlement administrator. You can also contact class counsel with your concerns. Counsel is listed in the article and can be Googled for contact information.
How do I check to see if I already filed a claim form?
Thank you
Brenda
I just completed my claim form electronically and I’m trying to send my claim form electronically. However, there is an error message saying the receiver is NOT accepting. I go through the trouble for the peanuts after spending good money on these bad products and this is how they treat the consumer. Horrible.
ok ok
$1.50 per household if you don’t have proof of purchase up to 6 years ago, seriously? So what it comes down to is the consumers that got screwed get screwed again & the attorney’s & 1 claimant get rich, cool. Judges need to quit allowing these ridiculous parameters on these lawsuit settlements.
They already KNOW no one will have proof of purchase from six years ago! SMDH! What a rip off AGAIN!
Something is not working. I can fill out or retrieve the claim to fill out.
Claim form online worked fine for me.
Unable to file a claim for the nut thins. It asks for a claim# retrieval. But I’m trying file a claim for the first time.
No luck for me either, it comes up with an error screen.
The claim site does not work…
