Consumers who purchased Babyganics baby care products may be entitled to cash from a $2.215 million paid out by the maker, KAS Direct LLC, as a part of a Babyganics class action settlement over alleged false advertising.

The Babyganics false advertising settlement will end allegations that KAS Direct misleadingly marketed its products as organic and made from “mineral-based” ingredients.” Products included in the my Babyganics settlement include: Babyganics brand lotions, toothpaste, shampoo, diaper rash cream, and sunscreen.

The Babyganics skincare lawsuit alleged that consumers purchased Babyganics products based on advertising touting the products as organic.

Under the terms of the Babyganics class action settlement, Class Members will be entitled to either a full refund with proof of purchase or partial reimbursement without proof of purchase for up to eight Babyganics items.

The Babyganics false advertising settlement also requires KAS Direct to update Babyganics products packaging and advertising to help consumers understand whether the ingredients in the product are organic.

KAS Direct admits no wrongdoing under the terms of the Babyganics false advertising settlement agreement.

Class Members can object or exclude themselves from the Babyganics class action settlement by Oct. 10, 2018.

  1. Marine says:

I’ve bought and used a bunch of their products on my kids and felt good about using them. Do you really think I’ve kept all my receipts?? Who does that?!! They need to figure out a better way to reimburse us.

  2. Amy Stellutto says:

I bought dozens of their products between 2013-2016. But who actually saves receipts for diapers? I guess I will take what I can get. Sad that you can’t trust baby products of all things.

    1. Amy Stellutto says:

And I missed the suit for Honest and had bundles for years!

  3. Kara says:

I have used their products for all of my children, not because of name or words on a package, but because the EWG rates them as low risk. I can’t imagine that will change due to the word “natural” being used in their packaging. I am an advocate of truth in advertising, but I believe this is a quality product that never once mislead me.

    1. Bonnie Peterson says:

I agree! I never had any issues with their products. Actually their sunscreen is the only kind my daughter can use without breaking out in a rash!

  4. Heather says:

I have been using your products since
2011, do you really think I have saved all the receipts? No I haven’t what a waste of money

  5. Amber says:

This is ridiculous I used their products thru two children how on earth do they expect people to keep receipts for 8 years. You don’t even need to keep cancelled checks that long. Guess the company gets to keep the money they illicitly earned off our childrens backs. Very expensive products only to find out like Johnson’s you are liars.

  6. Susan childers says:

I buy this for grand babies try to use all organic things possible and how are we supposed to keep receipts I guess I need a extra closet for receipts from now on

  7. DESHAWNDA RUSH says:

    Thats crazy

  8. Shiela says:

No receipts = more money for these bottom feeders.

  9. Dr. Michael Ktona says:

Really, I have three kids and used over 2000 bucks with there products and no way have the receipts is this a joke or are you working for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Angela says:

How do they expect people to still have receipts from 2010 to now!! I used a bunch of their products!
