My dad caught covid in piqua Manor and died I also have a picture of him where he was laying and dried vomit at the nursing home.I believe they neglected him he told me when he pushed the button they would not come. My sister Mary and Mom put him in there. I never agreed to it. He’s dead now. My sister took him home the day he was dying . He was already frail he could not handle the covid. He also just broke his arm. I feel horrible for him the day he was supposed to go home from physical therapy they found out he had covid week and a half later he was dead

I feel your pain, recently my grandfather become ill which resulted in my aunt to go against everything he wanted and deserved and stuck him into a nursing home stripped of pride pride dignity. How can people be heartless and Cold when it comes to our elders especially someone with a heart of gikr gold pure Saint. A few days after he was put into nursing home 7 visited only to notice my poor papa with a tongue purple and blue finger tips white and feet numb 59 my touch .I begged the facility to call for medical attention he needed help .. the staff a t care facility demanded that I leave property insaid he needs medical attention staff replied ” that’s not your call, your not power of attorney ” I replied ” he just told you clearly he wanted to go home ma’am ” she replied ” he can’t make that decision ” .. she followed me out rhw door stating ” the family can request you not be back on property cause this is private property “. …. I kept peace and with knots in my stomach and completely scared to death I wouldn’t get back 5o my papa before something happen. They never seemed medical care until almost 43 hrs later when he stated running a fever, he was taken to hospital while waiting to be roomed he coughed and aspirated on his own blood from a aneurysm that was ignored and never checked or fixed with minor surgery .

His signs tongue fingers and toes was all signs ignored they let my sweet papa die and denied him the right to make his own decisions.

That day at facility I recorded everything even mybpapa telling facility birthday address hebasked for his glasses in video so he could read the documents for medical poa before he signed. His mind was never deemed incompetent a person that’s not sound minded wouldn’t care to read documents before signing. The care home refused him 2 witness that day , he wanted to leave and 8 wanted him to get medical treatment , his birthday Oct 9th would’ve been 86 . He went from just taking walks with n y daughters reading drawing, dancing qt Christmas time to neglected and stripped of fair rights as a human being the same day n ybaunt took him to get poa beginning of March 2022 she took him by the nursing home to ” show him ” he told her then ” this is nice for someone else but I’m not for thus and want to go home !” She didn’t care she was waiting on her moment to shove him away regardless of his wants or wishes so m uch so she ignored signs she allowed medical care staff to neglect and ignore signs even after it was pointer out to them. I have all recordings and proof of all this if I could get a lawyer or attorney to hear my story hear my papa’s story , and judge also would clearly see with the proof I have that the damage done needs justice brought to have closure . My poor papa begged me to help him he begged them telling them clearly what he wanted
