Hello, Everyone!
I hope you have had a fantastic week! It seems like everyone is on vacation right now! Everywhere I look, my friends are gallivanting around the country, and the world, as they celebrate the summer with their family. Very cool!
I’m taking this time to explore Europe with my family as I continue to look into expanding Top Class Actions globally. Class actions are a very American type of tort, but mass actions are expanding in Europe. In fact, we’re seeing more mass action lawsuits filed throughout the European Union every year. It’s still just a handful, but that may be the time to hop in and get a website started. Now, some of you may be thinking, let’s do it first and beat Scott to the punch! Sure, go for it. As you’ll find out it’s easy to create a website. It’s super difficult to create a regular following and dedicated fan base. If you do that, it’s really, REALLY hard to generate real $$$. Remember, we (TCA) ‘only’ generate about $5k a month in Google Ads. That $60k a year barely covers our HOSTING bill. So, that means you’ve got to do what I do: Meet attorneys in your target market, figure out your revenue stream, plan out how many years you can run without making any money (yes, plan on multiple years of very little revenue), and make sure that you’re doing everything ethically for your local barristers. That means expanding internationally is a LOT of work. It also doesn’t help that I’m 6-9 hours ahead of all of our regular clients, so meetings back home are a challenge. Will we launch in Europe? We’ll see! I will wrap up this research trip soon. In the mean time, I’m going to take a nap. I’m in Italy right now and an afternoon siesta is encouraged! Don’t blame me for going local!
