Good Evening!
Please forward this to your family and friends! Let’s make sure that as many consumers as possible make their claim! It continues to be an energetic time here at Top Class Actions. We’re posting new settlements on a regular basis and have had some great success in connecting viewers with eligible settlements. One settlement in particular had more than 8,000 views resulting in more than 2,500 people heading over to the settlement administrator website to register within a 14 day period. I call that successful! In addition, we were written about on MSN Money, as well as at the Consumerist. Both of those sites have driven a significant amount of traffic to us and we appreciate it. Have YOU written about us in your Blog? Let us know and we’ll add you to our new TCA in the News section.
First off, the weekly CEO Video Blog is HERE! I’ll be posting a weekly update which you can watch right on the site or download the video, or just the audio if desired, via iTunes. It’s up to you! Please check out the very first episode!
What settlements are new?
We posted the details on the AOL/Trilegiant/Cendant settlement. At first glance you may go “Scott, what do I care about THAT?!?! Move on man!!!” but then I tell you it actually covers DOZENS of different companies. This settlement refunds subscription charges to these companies, up to three years worth so it could be a hefty refund. If you don’t have proof of the charges then you’ll have to stick with the default refund of $20. The companies involved were listed as offers in credit card, mortgage and checking account statements. You know, the Privacy Guard, CreditGuard and other types of offers you receive all the time with your credit card bill. Check out the article for the full listing of companies. If you think you may be included, make your claim! $20 sure is better than nothing!
Other Settlements Added (Individual Settlement Amount in Parenthesis)
PayPal/eBay refunds certain charges (Amount varies)
Timberland.com Text Messages (~$150!)
Mobile Messenger Ringtones, Apps and Games refunded for all mobile carriers (Amount varies)
What settlements are ending soon?
GM Dexcool Settlement closes 10/27/08
Menu Foods (Contaminated Pet Food from China) Settlement closes 11/24/08
Requested Settlements:
We’re currently looking for people who have received unsolicited/SPAM Text Messages to their cell phone, are cable broadband subscribers in Wyoming, Montana, Kansas or Illinois or had their insurance involuntarily canceled simply because they were active duty in the Military. If you fit any of those categories, please head over to Requested Settlements and fill out the form.
Site Updates:
We are continuously updating the site to make it more user friendly. As you’ve probably noticed we added forms to receive your submissions and complaints about products and services that you’re interested in pursuing legal action on. We’re reviewing them and when applicable partnering with the attorneys in our network to take action on your behalf. If you’re an attorney, please check out what being in our network will gain you.
That’s all for now! Please forward this email to your friends! We appreciate you spreading the word about Top Class Actions!
Warm Regards,
Scott Hardy
