Update From the President of TCA
|
Good morning, everyone!
I hope you had a great week! We were busy updating our site search feature and working on squashing more annoying bugs. You won’t know how inefficient your code is until your site is getting slammed by thousands of viewers and your servers can’t handle it. Overall though, it’s been another great week! I’m working with a couple of new clients to get you some new class action investigations. They should launch this week so keep an eye out for them.
On the home front, it’s been a SCORCHER! The past few days have been 115 degrees+. I don’t know how people survived here without air conditioning!
I’d also like to touch on something I mentioned last week in the newsletter. When I talked about remembering our fallen warriors I failed to include our female warriors who have died in combat. I was specifically referring to Vietnam, where women weren’t allowed in combat zones. Now that is changing. Women are finally gaining acceptance in the special forces, and are being put in harms way, just like their male counterparts, in Afghanistan and beyond. A friend of mine, who just made Lieutenant Colonel, proudly carried her M-16 with her at all times when she was in Afghanistan. She shared stories of being under mortar fire from the enemy. Very scary stuff to deal with when she had her daughter waiting for her back home in the States. Thankfully, she’s tough, and made it through her tour. Now she’s stationed in Germany and loving it. Thanks to her, and all of the other men and women in our armed forces, who fight so civilians like me don’t have to!
Make it a great week!
Warm Regards,
Scott Hardy
President
