Intellicorp Background Check Class Action Settlement – Intellicorp Records Inc. and Insurance Information Exchange (IIX) have agreed to pay $18.6 million to settle a class action lawsuit that accuses the companies of violating the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). If either of these companies provided your criminal background report to an employer, you could get a cash payment of up to $2,000 from the class action settlement.

Yes, we do enjoy quite a few days without rain, despite popular belief.
A lot of popular class action settlements were granted final approval recently, which means consumers should be seeing checks in the mail soon if they submitted a valid claim and no appeals are filed. Keep an eye on your mailboxes over the next several months if you submitted a claim to the Brazilian Blowout class action settlement, the Louis Vuitton class action settlement, and the 1-800 Contacts class action settlement – which is paying out a whopping $600!
The Valor Fireplace class action settlement was also approved, and is still accepting claims until Feb. 10 – so submit yours now if you qualify.
