Actos Caused Bladder Cancer After Eight Years on the Drug Alleges Lawsuit

Ralph Penrod, of Hartford City, Indiana, is the latest plaintiff to join the Actos multidistrict litigation (MDL) in Louisiana. Ralph states in his Actos lawsuit that he took the type 2 diabetes treatment drug for eight years after being prescribed Actos in 2003. In April of 2011 Ralph stopped taking Actos after suspecting he came down with bladder cancer. Ralph underwent surgery to treat his allegedly Actos related bladder cancer and tumors in August of 2011.
