SeatGeek has agreed to a $7.75 million class action settlement to resolve claims it failed to disclose fees on ticket purchases in Nevada.

The SeatGeek settlement benefits individuals who purchased electronic tickets to events in Nevada from SeatGeek’s website or mobile app between Nov. 7, 2020, and May 12, 2025, and who were charged fees.

The class action lawsuit claims SeatGeek failed to disclose the total cost of electronic tickets, including fees, before consumers selected tickets for purchase. The undisclosed ticket fees allegedly caused financial harm to consumers and violated Nevada law.

SeatGeek is a ticket marketplace that allows fans to buy, sell, transfer and manage tickets for live events.

SeatGeek has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $7.75 million class action settlement to resolve the allegations.

Under the terms of the SeatGeek settlement, class members who submit a valid claim can receive a proportional cash payment based on the amount they paid in ticket fees. While individual payout amounts depend on the total number of valid claims filed, the settlement guarantees a minimum cash tier baseline of $15 for qualifying class members.

The deadline for exclusion and objection is Dec. 6, 2026.

The final approval hearing for the SeatGeek class action settlement is scheduled for Jan. 12, 2027.

To receive settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by Jan. 5, 2027.
