Red Bull consumers who filed a claim in the class action settlement that accused the energy drink maker of false advertising are reporting that they are receiving a four-pack in the mail!
According to reader comments and posts on theTop Class Actions Facebook page, Class Members who submitted timely and valid claims for the Red Bull settlement began receiving the four-packs on Jan. 26, 2016.
If you filed a claim for the Red Bull false advertising class action settlement, keep checking your mailbox because you may soon be receiving your payout!

In the Red Bull class action lawsuits filed by plaintiffs Benjamin Careathers, David Wolf, and Miguel Almaraz, the energy drink consumers alleged that the manufacturer falsely advertised it’s product with promises of vitalizing body and mind, when in fact the beverage had no greater effect than a cup of coffee or caffeine pill.
Class Members of the Red Bull class action settlement included all persons who made at least one purchase of Red Bull Products in the U.S. between Jan. 1, 2002 and Oct. 3, 2014.
Under the terms of the Red Bull settlement, Class Members had the option of choosing either a cash payout or free Red Bull products.
The deadline to file a claim for the Red Bull class action settlement passed on March 2, 2015.

UPDATE: On Oct. 19, 2016, Top Class Actions viewers started receiving a second round of settlement checks worth as much as $2.01!

That just happened to me yesterday, too. Cost me $12 in fees for the returned check.

Yeah, I got my $2.01 check in the mail. I deposited it into my bank account. The check “BOUNCED”. Ended up with me receiving a $10 charge-back fee…….WTF?
