Top Class Actions has been following the Red Bull class action lawsuits and the following settlement since 2014.

In the Red Bull class action lawsuits filed by plaintiffs Benjamin Careathers, David Wolf, and Miguel Almaraz, the energy drink consumers alleged that the manufacturer falsely advertised it’s product with promises of vitalizing body and mind, when in fact the beverage had no greater effect than a cup of coffee or caffeine pill.

Class Members of the Red Bull class action settlement included all persons who made at least one purchase of Red Bull Products in the U.S. between Jan. 1, 2002 and Oct. 3, 2014.

Under the terms of the Red Bull settlement, Class Members had the option of choosing either a cash payout or free Red Bull products.

The deadline to file a claim for the Red Bull class action settlement passed on March 2, 2015.
