There’s long awaited news for the airline passengers who filed a claim in the Korean Air class action settlement – Class Members should expect to receive a check and coupon code in April!
According to the Korean Air Passenger Antitrust Litigation Settlement Website, Judge Otero approved the motion for distribution of settlement funds yesterday.
If you bought at least one ticket for air travel on either Asiana Airlines or Korean Air between Jan. 1, 2000 and Aug. 1, 2007, and filed a claim for the class action lawsuit settlement, you don’t have to wait much longer for your payout!
Top Class Actions has been following the airline passenger class action lawsuit that accused Korean Air Lines and Asiana Airlines of conspiring to fix prices for air travel between the U.S. and the Republic of Korea since 2013.
Korean Air and Asiana Airlines agreed to pay $65 million to resolve the price-fixing class action lawsuit that alleged the companies agreed to establish artificially high prices for air passenger travel.
Class Members that submitted a valid Claim Form are expected to receive cash and coupons from the class action settlement, which will be distributed pro rata, based on the total number of qualifying purchases and valid Claim Forms submitted.
Korean Air Lines and Asiana Airlines deny the allegations raised in the class action lawsuit but agreed to a settlement to resolve the litigation.
The deadline to submit a Claim Form for the Korean Air settlement passed on Dec. 31, 2013.

to me
I can probably help you if you want to let me know what information you are looking for.
If you are asking about the distribution date, it looks like we are going to post the firm date on the case website either today tomorrow or the next day- and it looks like the distribution will be before the end of June.

posted a reply to my email that was sent to Jeff yesterday. Sounds like he is getting a lot of emails and seems to be a bit irritated.. lol
The Longer they hold the money in an interest bearing accountthe more they make, Plus the longer they delay they make more money administratively, Someone should legally through court call them out on that
I just feel that the last update of when checks were to be mailed, have gone way past the date indicated by Rust. Therefore, Rust should show the consumers the decendsy and or respect by updating a post letting us know where they are in this process and or what is really going on…. Rust shows no Respect for us, the consumers !!!!!
Fact Rust Consulting been misleading for over a year. They were paid millions just to distribute funds that’s it that’s all. April :2015 Rust consulting posted they were building a website for the coupon database and funds will be distributed late summer 2015. 1: misleading information all class action coupons go through website clearing certificate. This company been in business over 20 years. 2: February 2016: Class Counsel lawyers had to take Rust Consulting to Judge Otero to have Rust to release the funds to class members(which I’ve never seen before in my life time). Rust Consulting contact Judge Otero three days before hearing and said we will release funds cancel court date.3: February 2016 Rust Consulting posted funds will be released April 2016. 4: April 21, 2016 Rust Consulting posted website technical difficulties now, funds distribution late May 2016. It’s June 1st there are no technical difficulties Rust didn’t build a website there using clearing certificate. Com like all other class action coupon. Now! When they do release funds check are going to be like $200, there will be an investigation into this website they had to build, when there’s proof there using clearing certificate. Com which Rust is going to say that cost a lot of people’s money. Rust Consulting has a ton of other accounts there nor an honest upstanding company they proved that and another class action lawsuit will be against them for all his misleading information, stole tacktes and not very good ones at that, it will be a shame if class counsel has to take Rust Consulting back in front of Judge Otero again and say what, do a fast side bar and say we’re going to release funds. Rust Consulting has to keep posting a distribution date for courts, to buy them more time all they had to say we will distribute funds in six months or so! But they know there not getting away with none of this, plus there lawyers should be disbared and employees dismissed, I’m not standing g for nothing short, I’ve already been violated and Rust Consulting Continue this violation. Just want Rust Consulting out of my life forever put this behind me and watch the lawsuit’s that’s going to hit Rust Consulting when this is over, which they will drag and mislead that for years.
They need to get it together
Just pray this is over soon
