Bose-SoundSport-headphonesConsumers have recently reported that their expensive Bose SoundSport headphones lose their ability to hold a charge and fail to power on.

In today’s market, there are hundreds if not thousands of headphone options available for consumers. There are studio-style headphones for intense music listening, noise-canceling headphones, and a wide array of Bluetooth headphones for those interested in a listening experience without cords.

One such Bluetooth headphone product is Bose SoundSport headphones. These Bluetooth headphones are touted as durable listening devices with a long battery life. Their resistance to sweat and moisture makes these headphones a popular option for workouts, but consumer reports suggest that Bose SoundSport headphones are not as durable as they are marketed to be.

Some consumers have reported their Bose SoundSport headphones losing the ability to hold a charge consistently followed by an eventual inability to power on. This defect can even occur with minimal use, leaving consumers dissatisfied and disappointed in these pricey headphones.

Bose customers have left one-star reviews on Amazon, lamenting the defect associated with the otherwise comfortable Bose SoundSport headphones. One consumer reported limited battery life with their headphones as soon as they started using them. Less than a month after purchasing, after experiencing limited, 2-hour battery life, the consumer’s headphones stopped powering on completely.

“I guess I’ll have to stick with wires when listening at the gym,” the consumer wrote disappointedly.

Another consumer reported purchasing several pairs of the Bose SoundSport Headphones with disappointing results. Although the consumer’s first pair worked wonderfully until it was destroyed in a gym accident, the next three pairs purchased failed to work.

The first additional pair worked for two weeks before a cracking noise started in one of the earbuds. The second additional pair failed to work straight out of the box and would not hold a charge. The third additional pair reportedly stopped holding a charge after only 35 days.

“So all in all as long as you get a good pair of those headphones they are amazing but be warned they do send out several defective products as well as I have had several friends complain of similar issues,” the customer wrote in his Amazon review. “Very disappointing to see this from a company I have regarded as the best for so long.”

Numerous consumers have also taken issue with the manufacturing quality of the Bose SoundSport headphones. These customers have reported pieces of the headphones, including the volume buttons, falling off or coming loose from the headphone unit.

Consumers are extremely disappointed in the problems they’ve been experiencing with Bose SoundSport headphones. Bose is well-known for its well-made products and impressive sound quality, but their SoundSport headphones allegedly fail to live up to the brand’s impressive reputation. Because of the brand’s reputation, many consumers are confident when paying hundreds of dollars for their Bose SoundSport headphones only to be disappointed by a lack of quality.

Legal experts are looking into allegations that Bose knowingly sells a defective product which does not work.

The learn more button for this bose link does not link to anything bose related. It just reverts back to the main website? Is that intentional? If so, #FAIL
