AquaFlo Toilet Water Supply Line May Cause Major Property DamageHave you purchased an AquaFlo toilet water supply line? Unfortunately, these connector hoses from LSP Products have been linked with complaints of significant water damage to property.

If your property has suffered from water damage caused by an AquaFlo toilet water supply line, you may be able to participate in a class action lawsuit investigation which can help compensate for damage.

Defective AquaFlo Toilet Water Supply Line

AquaFlo toilet water supply lines are also known as water connectors, water lines, flexible water lines, toilet connectors, and water connector hoses. LSP Products’ AquaFlo toilet water supply line is also sold under a few other names, including MightyFlex and DiamondBack.

Unfortunately, these products have been linked with a number of problems that may lead to leaking and water damage. For instance, some homeowners say that an AquaFlo toilet water supply line may leak when its plastic coupling nut fails, the brass coupling nut breaks or the braided hose leaks or even bursts.

Water damage caused by these kinds of failures can be extreme, causing hundreds or even thousands of dollars in repairs. While insurance can protect homeowners from the worst costs, even a deductible for this kind of damage can be a significant unexpected cost.

One woman who recently filed a lawsuit over an AquaFlo toilet water supply line alleges that the coupling nut components of the product are defective. Essentially, she says, the defect is severe enough that it can cause the product to fail, leading to significant leaking problems.

According to the lawsuit, the device’s connectors fail “sooner than reasonably expected,” which can lead to serious damage, along with the significant costs associated with such damage.

The plaintiff alleges her 16” toilet connector failed, leading to major property damage. Because this was at her vacation home and she wasn’t there at the time, the device’s defect and subsequent leaking was only discovered several days later, after significant water damage had already occurred to the property.

“By the time the flooding was discovered by a neighbor . . . much of the first floor of the house was water-soaked and mold had begun to grow,” she claims in the lawsuit. She alleges the damage was bad enough that she was stuck paying tens of thousands of dollars to fix the floors, walls, framing and the very structure of the home.

The plaintiff filed her lawsuit as a class action on behalf of herself and any others in a similar situation who have also suffered from property damage because of a defective AquaFlo toilet water supply line.

  1. ANTHONY says:

Recently had a water supply line connector crack at the toilet tank and in just a few hours the entire house had 3/4 inch of clean water throughout every square inch of floor space. Every linear foot of sheetrock and molding had to be removed from 2ft from the floor. All the studs had to be dried, cleaned and treated, then put back the way it was originally built. Almost $50k in water damage, mold growth and remediation and build out. All because of some cheap plastic connector… all the insurance companies should be suing all the manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers… the lesson, theres nothing more expensive than CHEAP and always buy American Made and buy the expensive item over the cheap one. Developers, home builders and renovators are notorious for this.
