Ace Hardware Corporation and other manufacturing companies are facing a new asbestos lung cancer lawsuit, from a New York man alleging the companies had failed to warn him and others against potential asbestos exposure.

Other companies named in the asbestos lung cancer lawsuit includes 84 Lumber Company, Air and Liquid Systems Corporation, and Aurora Pump Company, with each of the companies allegedly responsible for manufacturing and installing these products in the claimant’s work environment.

Plaintiff Robert A. is filing this asbestos lung cancer lawsuit, alleging the companies were liable for his diagnosis due to not disclosing the fact that their products contain asbestos. During the course of Robert’s employment, he had been working with asbestos materials and had been exposed to fibers released into the air on a regular basis, according to the complaint.

Even though the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) heavily regulates asbestos, the substance is commonly found in industrial occupations such as the railroad industry and is still poses the same health risks.

Due to the health dangers of asbestos exposure, manufacturing companies are required by law to warn consumers and employees against potential exposure when working with their products. According to this asbestos lung cancer lawsuit, Ace Hardware Corporation and the other companies failed to disclose this fact and had placed Robert and others in danger of asbestos exposure.

Furthermore, Robert claims the companies failed to provide any kind of protective equipment that would have greatly reduced the risk of asbestos exposure. Overall, Robert alleges his asbestos lung cancer was preventable and the companies’ negligence has greatly shortened his life.

Robert is filing this asbestos lung cancer lawsuit seeking multiple damages, including counts of negligence and failure to warn.
