Busy warehouse with pallet trucks workingA California man has filed a forklift accident lawsuit against American Wood Fibers Inc., alleging personal injury.

The plaintiff, Norman S., has file the forklift accident lawsuit in California federal court. The lawsuit was filed on Feb. 15, 2018.

According to the forklift accident lawsuit, Norman worked as a truck driver for AC Trucking. On March 24, 2016, he says that he drove his truck into American Wood Fibers to pick up a load of wood. While the defendants were loading his truck with wood, he says, he started to secure the load of wood with straps around his truck.

Norman says that soon after, someone from American drove a forklift at “a high rate of speed” and struck him from behind as he was securing the load. He says that he was “flung to the ground, sustaining severe personal injuries.”

The forklift accident lawsuit was filed on multiple counts including negligence and premises liability.

Norman says that he seeks economic damages including non-economic damage such as mental suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, past and future physical pain, physical impairment, grief, humiliation, emotional distress, anxiety and inconvenience.
