  • Core Issue: StubHub is accused of advertising ticket prices that were lower than what it actually charged. Customers say StubHub added hidden fees at the end of the online checkout process, causing them to pay more than the advertised price.
  • Who it Affects: Consumers who purchased tickets through StubHub before May 14, 2025, or California residents who purchased tickets before July 1, 2024.
  • Harm/Impact: These hidden fees caused consumers to pay more for tickets than the advertised price.
  • Legal Status: Attorneys are reviewing these allegations and pursuing potential legal claims on behalf of affected consumers.
  • Take Action: If you purchased tickets on StubHub, you could be eligible to seek compensation. Fill out the form on this page to find out if you qualify.

StubHub is facing allegations that, prior to May 14, 2025, it deceptively advertised ticket prices that understated the total cost consumers would pay.

These claims include allegations of:

  • Hidden fees added at checkout: Customers allege that StubHub advertised one price for tickets and then added hidden fees at the end of the checkout process. Because these fees were not disclosed up front, consumers may have paid more than they otherwise would have paid.
  • Deceptively labeled fees: Customers also allege that, although StubHub labeled the charges as “fulfillment and service fees,” the fees were, in fact, unrelated to any actual fulfillment or service. Instead, they claim the charges were simply a way for StubHub to increase its profits.

These alleged practices may have caused consumers to pay more for tickets than they otherwise would have paid. Attorneys are investigating whether affected consumers may have legal grounds to pursue claims and recover potential losses.

You may qualify for the StubHub deceptive pricing legal actions if the following apply:

  • You purchased tickets on StubHub prior to May 14, 2025, from anywhere other than California; or
  • If from California, you purchased tickets prior to July 1, 2024.
