Tesla recalls various vehicle models
Tesla initiated a recall affecting over 2 million vehicles due to concerns about the Autosteer feature. The recall encompasses 2017-2023 Tesla Model 3, 2012-2023 Model S, 2016-2023 Model X, and 2020-2023 Model Y vehicles, specifically those equipped with any version of the Autosteer feature leading up to the version containing the recall remedy. The company expresses apprehension that the autopilot functionality might lead drivers to neglect their responsibility for vehicle operation, potentially hindering their ability to intervene when necessary or recognize when Autosteer is deactivated.
To address these concerns, Tesla plans a free, over-the-air software update. The company aims to roll out this update promptly and will commence owner notification letters on Feb. 10, 2024.
DM Merchandising recalls mini string lights
DM Merchandising issued a recall for approximately 34,600 Bunkhouse and Lotsa Lites Connectable Mini String Lights due to potential hazards arising from overheating bulbs when the lights are directly plugged into an outlet.
The recall covers Bunkhouse and Lotsa Lites Connectable Mini String Lights, sold in Christmas, Everyday and Halloween packages, with SKU numbers XSTL24, BHSTL24 and HSTL24, respectively. Although three incidents of overheating have been reported, no injuries have been associated with the recall.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission urges consumers are urged to stop using the affected mini string lights and unplug them immediately. The Bunkhouse and Lotsa Lites Connectable Mini String Lights affected by the recall were available nationwide at gift stores, boutiques and online from August through September 2023, priced between $10 and $13.
For more information and assistance regarding the recall, concerned individuals can contact DM Merchandising directly by phone at 800-548-6784, by email or via their website.
Global Veg Corp. recalls sun-dried tomato halves
Global Veg Corp. initiated a recall of its Aviator Sundried Tomato Halves due to the presence of undeclared sulfites. The affected lots are identified as 5-pound packages of Aviator Sundried Tomato Halves, distinguished by Lot No. 060923/1. The sun-dried tomatoes are packaged in 5-pound vacuum bags.
Individuals with a severe sensitivity to sulfites face the potential risk of serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume the tomatoes. While there have been no reported illnesses associated with the recalled sun-dried tomatoes thus far, Global Veg Corp. urges consumers to return the affected bags to the place of purchase for a refund.
Infiniti recalls QX60 vehicle
Nissan has announced a recall affecting 20,051 of its 2022-2024 Infiniti QX60 vehicles, prompted by concerns about the Adaptive Front-Light System (AFS). According to the recall notice issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the identified headlight issue has the potential to compromise visibility, increasing the risk of accidents. Nissan has committed to dispatch owner notification letters for the Infiniti recall by Jan. 12.
As part of the recall remedy, Infiniti dealers will reconfigure the Intelligent Power Distribution Module (IPDM) settings at no cost to vehicle owners. For further information or assistance regarding the recall, affected vehicle owners can contact Nissan customer service at 800-867-7669, referencing recall number PC994.
Invagen Pharmaceuticals recalls Vigabatrin for Oral Solution
Invagen Pharmaceuticals issued a recall for one lot of Vigabatrin for Oral Solution, USP 500 milligrams, due to concerns about an integrity issue with the packaging seals that may allow powder to leak from the foil pouches. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) published details of the recall Dec. 11, specifying that the affected product has batch number NB301030 and an expiration date of March 2025.
Vigabatrin is an oral solution used to treat refractory complex partial seizures as an adjunctive therapy for patients aged 2 and older who have adequately responded to alternative treatments. Cipla Limited, the parent company of Invagen Pharmaceuticals, expresses worry that leakage could result in inaccurate dosing, potentially causing serious adverse health effects such as intoxication or breakthrough seizures requiring medical intervention.
The Vigabatrin recall emphasizes that, for a small minority of patients, a drop in phenytoin blood levels due to inaccurate dosing could lead to life-threatening seizures requiring immediate emergency room treatment. Cipla is actively coordinating the retrieval of all recalled Vigabatrin products and is notifying customers through various channels, including press releases, letters, telefax, telephone, email and on-site visits.

Saying “Add me” does absolutely nothing. You must file a valid claim.
Add me.
My 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport was stolen twice in 2023. 2nd time was with anti theft installed. I’m waiting for the class action lawsuit to be settled in 2024.
Good to know about the anti-theft software. Hyundai’s been bugging me to bring my Tucson in but now I’m thinking twice because why bother if they can still steal the car. Sorry it had to happen to you twice
