  • Why: The sets fail to meet flammability standards, posing a burn risk to children.
  • Where: The childrenโ€™s pajamas recall is active in the United States.

Selfie Craft Co. recalled more than 38,000 childrenโ€™s pajama sets as they fail to meet flammability standards, posing a burn risk to children.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission website posted the recall Jan. 19. It applies to about 38,740 sets of pajamas sold with different designs, including Birthday Boy, Dinosaur, Sleeping Sloth and more. Consumers can view a full list of the recalled sets here.ย

Selfie recalled the pajama sets because they fail to meet flammability standards for childrenโ€™s sleepwear, โ€œposing a risk of burn injuries to children,โ€ the recall notice says.

The pajamas were sold with seven permanent fabric pens inside a cardboard container with the label โ€œColour In Creative Craft Kit, Crafty Fun, British Design With Love.โ€

Pajamas can be returned for a full refund, according to Selfie Craft Co. recall

Selfie sold the sets online at etsy.com, uncommongoods.com, macys.com, selfiecraft.co.uk, thetot.com and boutiques nationwide from November 2017 through June 2022 for about $39.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajama sets away from children, stop using them and contact the Selfie Craft Co., the childrenโ€™s pajamas recall says.

โ€œConsumers are to destroy the recalled pajama sets by cutting them in half vertically and submitting a photo of the destroyed pajama set to Selfie Craft Co. for a full refund,โ€ the recall notice states.

Selfie Craft Co. is contacting all known purchasers directly.

No injuries have been reported in relation to the pajama sets so far, the company says. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.

Meanwhile, in November, the William Carter Co. (Carterโ€™s) recalled its Infantโ€™s Yellow Footed Fleece Pajamas with Animal Graphic as consumers found small metal wire pieces in the pajamas.
