  • Where: The recall is nationwide.

Wish-Bone branded Thousand Island and Chunky Blue Cheese salad dressings are being recalled by Conagra Brands due to undeclared egg, which poses the “the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction” to anyone with an egg allergy.

According to a recall notice posted by the Food and Drug Administration, four batches of the dressings are being voluntarily recalled due to containing egg, which is not declared on the product label.

“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products,” the recall notice says.

Luckily, there have been no reports of illness or injury due to the consumption of these products to date, Conagra Brands says.

The affected batches are:

Customers Should Dispose Of Recalled Dressings

Conagra Brands is urging consumers who have purchased any of the recalled dressings to dispose of them.

“Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider,” it says.

Conagra Brands says it will work with retail customers to ensure the recalled dressings are removed from store shelves, adding that the recall doesn’t impact any other Wish-Bone or Conagra Brands products.

Consumers with questions can contact Conagra Brands Consumer Care at 1-800-881-3989 or via email at Consumer.Care@conagra.com.

In January, Aldi recalled Moser Roth The Collection Milk, White and Dark Chocolates for the same issue. According to the recall notice, the chocolates contained the undisclosed egg, posing a “possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.” The company offered a full refund for the chocolates.
