Little City- and Little Pritti-branded premier dress-up playsets have been recalled over concerns they contain levels of certain phthalates that exceeds the federal phthalate standard and levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban.

The recall involves the Little City Premier Doctor Playset and Teacher Purse Set and the Little Pritti Stylist Handbag Set imported by Perch, Musty and Bingo Deals. The recall also includes Prextex Slime Eggs. Around 205,000 items in total are included in the recall.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled playsets.

The recalled children’s dress-up playsets were sold online on both Amazon and Walmart from July 2021-Aug. 2023 for $9-$45. The Little Pritti handbag playset was also sold at Ocean State Job Lot stores in the northeast United States.

Perch, Amazon, Walmart to contact all known purchasers directly

Perch, Amazon and Walmart says they will contact all known purchasers of the recalled children’s dress-up playsets directly.

There have been no injuries reported in connection with the recall. Consumers who have more questions about the recall can contact Perch directly at (888) 359-4676 or online.

In another recent recall involving a children’s product, Chinese company FENGM recalled about 84,000 of its Tiblue 8- and 12- ounce stainless steel children’s cups earlier this month over concerns they contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban.

FENGM is also concerned the lids on the recalled Tiblue children’s cups could crack or break, creating a choking and laceration hazard for children.
