Strollers, toys, walkers and pajama sets are being recalled across the United States this week after being found to pose multiple safety risks to babies and children.

Lovevery Recalls Stainless Steel Drinking Cups Due To Choking Hazard

In one recall, Lovevery is recalling 169,000 stainless steel drinking cups included in its Inspector Play Kits for children aged 8 months to 7 years due to a choking hazard posed by the handle. It is also recalling around 11,000 of the cups sold in Canada.

According to the recall notice, Lovevery has received 70 reports of the handle of the drinking cup becoming partially or completely detached, including two incidents where a child had the cup handle in their mouth. No choking injuries have been reported.

The company is asking consumers to immediately take the recalled drinking cups away from children, stop using them and contact Lovevery for a free replacement cup. Consumers will receive a free replacement cup after registering on the firm’s website and following the company’s instructions online.

Zeno Recalls Infant Walkers Because Of Fall, Entrapment Hazards

In a second recall, Zeno is pulling 1,355 of its infant walkers from shelves due to the walkers posing fall and entrapment hazards. According to the recall notice, the walkers fail to meet the federal safety standard.

The notice says the walkers can fit through a standard doorway and are not designed to stop at the edge of a step as required by the federal safety standard. The walkers also have leg openings that allow the child to slip down until the child’s head can become entrapped at the neck.

“Babies using these walkers can be seriously injured or killed,” the recall notice says.

The collapsible walkers have adjustable height settings and come with a black, teal, pink or gray frame; a gray or black seat; and a white, teal or pink tray. Some styles have toy attachments, a push handle and “Babywalker” stitched on the seat back.

Zeno is issuing a full refund to consumers who send the walkers back to the company.

Valco Baby Issues Recall For Strollers Due To Fall Hazard

Valco Baby has also issued a recall for 1,290 of its Snap Duo Trend Strollers due to a fall hazard posed by the strollers. According to the recall notice, the stroller’s front wheels can break off while in use, causing the strollers to fall unexpectedly and posing a fall hazard to children in the stroller.

Valco Baby has received 207 reports of front wheels cracking or breaking, but no injuries have been reported to date.

The Snap Duo Trend strollers come in charcoal, gray, night and denim colors. The recalled strollers have an order, model or batch number printed on the label permanently affixed to the strollers’ frame. Strollers with order numbers 7884, 7885 or 7886 and model numbers N9938, N9939, N9872 or N0001 are included in the recall.

Valco Baby is asking customers to contact the company to receive a free replacement front wheel assembly and instructions for replacement. Valco Baby is contacting all known purchasers directly.

H&M Recalls Children’s Sleepwear Sets Because Of Burn Risk

Meanwhile, H&M is recalling 615 Children’s Sleepwear Sets in the US and 100 in Canada due to the sets failing to meet the federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

This recall involves children’s ribbed-knit 56% rayon, 43% polyester and 1% spandex two-piece pajama sets, according to the recall notice. The pajama set was sold in two colors, light pink and mole (taupe), and in sizes 8-9 Years, 9-10 Years, 10-11 Years, 11-12 Years, 12-13 Years, 13-14 Years and 14+ Years.

The garment’s external affixed label reads, “Every day is a COZY DAY,” and the neck label states, “H&M.” Product ID numbers 1044037001 and 1044037002 can be found on the care label.

H&M is asking consumers to stop using the sleepwear sets immediately and to return them for a full refund.
