Evig was ordered to pay $1.1 million to the state of California to resolve claims that it deceptively advertised its Balance of Nature products, and no proof of purchase is required for consumers to benefit.
California consumers are eligible for compensation if they purchased a Balance of Nature Fruits, Veggies and/or Fiber & Spice supplement product within the last six years.
The lawsuit from several county attorneys general claimed that Evig’s Balance of Nature products were falsely advertised as containing the “nutritional equivalent of over 5 servings of fruits per dose.” Additionally, the supplements were allegedly marketed to consumers who had been diagnosed with serious diseases such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, fibromyalgia and cancer.
Evig’s Balance of Nature brand sells supplements that claim to provide the nutritional value of fruits and vegetables.
In a judgment order, the court ordered Evig to pay $850,000 in civil penalties and $250,000 in restitution.
Under the terms of the judgment, consumers who purchase Balance of Nature supplements can receive a cash payment. No payment estimates are available at this time. Consumers can receive a payment from the settlement even if they do not have proof of purchase.
There is no exclusion or objection deadline for the settlement.
The court’s judgment order was filed on June 23, 2023.
In order to receive benefits, consumers must submit a valid claim form by Nov. 3, 2023.

What about the rest of us who happen to live in other states. I myself live in Massachusetts and have bought balance of nature believing that it was better than a regular vitamin ( multi daily) and it turns out different, because the company has deceived not only myself but others.
Not all of us live in California.
I live in California, have been buying Balance of Nature for months, but I. never received a postcard with an ID / passcode. I can provide any documentation necessary to document my purchases. It looks like in order to file a Claim, one must have the ID/passcode from the postcard. How do I get my ID/passcode in order to file my Claim?

BON is heavily marketed garbage that pitches on Fox News and Newsmax and probably other networks. First of all, it isn’t Organic, so you get a nice dose of pesticides with your pinky fingernail serving of Fruits and Vegetables.
Second, their testimonials are hilarious, like people can be a “Better Mom” or “Better Coach” when taking this garbage…
Third, the price is INSANE… As a SUBSCRIBER, not a one time customer, you pay $69.95 for 120 Grams of NON ORGANIC powder… The competitor that I use charges $46 for Two Months worth of ORGANIC powder on subscription, which totals out at 480 Grams. They don’t advertise though, so I don’t pay for that.
Fourth, read customer reviews of people that want to cancel the autoship on Trust Pilot… Good luck with that!
Being heavily advertised on Fox News is why I decided to give it a try and I know that Fox and Newsmax is very watchable in the state of Massachusetts.
What about the rest of the country???
The commercials say that these people feel like they are 27!!!
Does that mean they’re no longer ill???
Is this supposed to be a cure-@ll???
