A settlement has been proposed in a class action lawsuit alleging Universal Handicraft Inc. d/b/a “Deep Sea Cosmetics” d/b/a “Adore Organic Innovations” violated consumer protection and warranty laws by misrepresenting the anti-aging benefits of certain Adore Organic Innovation products marketed as containing a plant stem cell formula.
If you purchased an Adore Organic Innovation product marketed as containing a plant stem cell formula between Sept. 29, 2012 and April 13, 2018, you may be entitled to benefits from the class action settlement.
According to the Adore class action lawsuit, the defendants marketed their Adore Organic Innovation product line as having “the highest concentration of its proven Plant Stem Cell formula, combined with a blend of vitamins, essential oils, and organic plant extracts, to enable your skin’s own stem cells to renew and slow the aging process. It’s the most advanced breakthrough in anti-aging skin care today. And it’s yours exclusively to adore.”
Plaintiffs Lisa Mollicone and Millie Land challenge these representations, claiming that the plant stem cells contained in the Adore products are not exclusive and are actually a proprietary ingredient called PhytoCellTec that is available in other less expensive cosmetics.
Further, they claim that the manufacturer of PhytoCellTec has admitted that the ingredient is a patented liposomal preparation of apple stem cells, and that the company’s research director acknowledged that the anti-aging benefits of PhytoCellTec could not be confirmed in a clinical trial.
The defendants deny the allegations but agreed to settle the Adore Organic Innovations class action lawsuit to avoid the burden and risk of litigation.
The Adore class action settlement was preliminarily approved on April 3, 2018.
In addition to providing cash benefits and gift cards to eligible Class Members, the defendants have also agreed to remove the words “proven” and “breakthrough” and the phrase “most advanced anti-aging science available today” from the labeling, description and promotion of its products. It has also agreed that it will not state that the plant stem cell formula in the products contain “live” plant stem cells.
Class Members who would like to opt out of or object to the Adore class action settlement must do so no later than July 2, 2018.

You can’t actually even get the $10.95 buffer, with shipping charges being at $16.66. The voucher is worthless.
Got a voucher for 17.03 today
Got $17.03 voucher in email today, its quite the rip off since the only thing you can get with this credit on the site is a nail buffer and everything else is really overpriced and not affordable! You are forced to spend alot of money this way if you want to use the full credit.
Yeah that is a joke. That’s how they get away with the lawsuit. Why in the world would I want to purchase again from them? Not only we got lied to but also spit on our face with their Worthless voucher.
