Eagle Loan Company of Ohio has agreed to pay $500,000 in order to settle accusations that the loan company charged a higher interest rate to customers than is permitted under state law.
If you are an Ohio resident and you took out a loan from Eagle Loan Company, you may be entitled to payment from the class action settlement.
Plaintiffs Kimberly and Jesse Adams filed the Eagle Loan class action lawsuit over claims that between Aug. 2008 and Aug. 2015, the loan servicer charged Ohio customers an interest rate higher than 21 percent.
Eagle Loan denies the allegations that they violated Ohio law. However, both parties agreed to the Eagle Loan interest rate class action settlement in order to resolve the case without further litigation costs.
The Eagle Loan interest rate class action lawsuit settlement will reimburse all Class Members a portion of the $500,000. Class Counsel estimates the Eagle Loan class action settlement will give each Class Member about $40.

Put in a claim for this well ahead of cut-off date. When are they expecting to settle this case and if it has already settled, when can I expect my portion?
