Update from the President of TCA

Good morning everyone! I hope you had an exceptional week! Mine was filled with fun and lots of playing with the girls since it was spring break for them. We stayed local, but we made sure to have fun. It’s so warm here right now that we’ll probably be taking the safety net off the pool and opening it up for the season within the next month. I don’t think we’ve ever opened it in April before, but the pool is already at 70 degrees. That’s a little bit cold, unless the outside temperature is in the 90s, then it’s REFRESHING! We’ll see! It’s always a bit of a bummer to take the net off the pool. That means the HEAT is coming and also that we have to closely monitor our girls in the backyard. Otherwise, we may find one, or both, of them in various stages of undress as they play on the pool steps and splash each other. Bathing suits aren’t a requirement for splashing each other in the pool. As long as Mom and Dad aren’t watching, school clothes are just fine, hah! They’re both strong swimmers but we still have to keep a close eye on them (and what they decide to throw in the pool). I’ve found rocks, dolls, BIG rocks, plastic food from their kitchen, small chairs and other things in the pool. Sometimes it’s the wind and sometimes it’s an inquisitive little person, but it’s always amazing how the girls already have mastered the blank look of “I have NO IDEA how that got in the pool, Daddy.” They’re always entertaining, that’s for certain! I hope it’s warming up in your neck of the woods!

On the work side of things, we’re keeping busy as I figure out the next phase of Top Class Actions. As you know, we’re not just class actions, so I’m working with my team to figure out how to continue to grow the business in other legal directions. I just had lunch with a local criminal defense attorney last week and he wants us to run some campaigns to help HIM find clients. I’m working on figuring out exactly how to do that. We’ll see if we can make it work. As a side note, this guy has some amazing stories. When you represent (alleged) drug lords, you hear some really crazy stuff. We’ll see what the future brings for Top Class Actions. All I know is where we are right now isn’t where we will be next year. Onward and upward! On the subject of onward, here are more lawsuit and settlement updates!
