In addition to paying $3.8 million to the states involved in the settlement, SiriusXM will also pay restitution to consumers who have unresolved complaints.

The SiriusXM settlement was reached in response to numerous complaints received by the state attorneys general with regard to SiriusXM’s billing and cancellation practices. The attorneys general of 45 states and the District of Columbia alleged SiriusXM misled consumer with its advertising and billing practices in violation of state consumer protection laws. In 2010, they launched an investigation into SiriusXM’s automatic renewal policies and determined the satellite radio provider violated consumer protection laws.

Sirius xm charged me for a whole year after I canceled and would not refund my money. I tried to cancel 12 times and they never canceled my account. I finally had to cancel my card linked to the account. This was in 2020. If there is another class action please contact me.
