Pradaxa Connected to 459 Deaths in Just Three Months

The last three months of 2011 was especially dangerous for at least 459 people who died while, or after, taking Pradaxa. Pradaxa (dabigatran) is a blood thinner medication used to reduce the risk of blood clots forming in the body and causing a stroke. The issue is that the FDA has found that patients who use Pradaxa are far more likely to have a “serious bleeding event” compared to those who aren’t on the drug.
