Consumers who purchased certain workout equipment models could benefit from a NordicTrack settlement that provides repairs, refunds and credit for alleged machine defects.
The settlement benefits consumers who purchased certain ProForm and NordicTrack workout equipment before Jan. 23, 2023. Consumers can find a full list of included machines on the settlement website.
According to the class action lawsuit, iFit sold NordicTrack and ProForm workout equipment with defective touchscreen consoles. These consoles, which facilitated live workout streaming and other services, allegedly failed due to mandatory updates from iFit.
iFit is a fitness company that sells workout services and equipment under various brands, including NordicTrack and ProForm.
iFit hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to pay an undisclosed sum to resolve the class action lawsuit.
Under the terms of the NordicTrack settlement, class members can receive repair, refund and/or credit benefits based on their experiences.
Class members who are still in possession of an unrepaired class device that failed after Nov. 1, 2021, can receive a free repair as part of the ProForm iFit settlement. These repairs include a no-cost replacement and installment of a tablet or console on the affected machine.
Consumers who paid iFit to repair their machines before May 6, 2024, can receive a refund for the amount they paid for repairs. The ProForm iFit settlement refunds will cover any documented amounts paid to iFit for repairs, replacements, diagnosis, replacement parts and accompanying services.
Individuals who contacted iFit about the alleged defect before May 6, 2024, did not receive a no-cost repair and subsequently disposed of their machine can receive a 20% coupon. This coupon can be used for up to a $600 discount on the purchase of fitness equipment or services through iFits workout brands.
Class members who paid for an iFit streaming subscription before May 6, 2024, and lost access to these services due to issues with their device tablets could receive 20% off a 12-month subscription extension. This ProForm iFit settlement extension is available for consumers who contacted iFit for repairs but who did not receive a no-cost repair or replacement within a month of their request.
The deadline for exclusion and objection is Aug. 3, 2024.
The final approval hearing for the settlement is scheduled for Nov. 7, 2024.
To receive NordicTrack settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by May 6, 2025.

I completely understand this because I Bought the treadmill that is listed in the class action lawsuit and tried so many times to activate the eye and it would not work and after years of not being able to use just sitting there, I threw it away. Thankfully, I bought mine from Amazon and still have the receipt
please add, i own one that quit working but i never received anything to submit a claim
My belt keeps coming off.
I have 2 devices a bike and treadmill. Please add me
Is this open to customers outside America? I am in Ireland and have just had to pay for a second hand console for exactly the reasons listed and they said nothing!!
Please add, I own one of these defective machines
