Elanco Animal Health and Bayer agreed to pay $15 million to resolve a Seresto class action lawsuit claiming Seresto flea and tick collar products are dangerous and could pose serious health risks to pets. No proof of purchase is needed for consumers to submit a claim in the Seresto collar lawsuit settlement.
The Seresto collar lawsuit settlement benefits consumers in the U.S., its territories or the District of Columbia who purchased any Seresto product for personal use and not for resale before July 8, 2024.
According to the Seresto class action lawsuit, Seresto flea and tick collars were misrepresented as being effective for eight months while Elanco Health failed to disclose the health risks associated with products. Seresto collars are allegedly associated with serious neurological health risks and can even cause death, the plaintiffs contend.
ClElanco Animal Health is a veterinary pharmaceutical company that sells farm animal and pet health solutions. Elanco acquired Bayer Animal Health in 2020.
Elanco and Bayer haven’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $15 million settlement to resolve the Seresto collar lawsuit.
Under the terms of the Seresto class action lawsuit settlement, class members can receive $13 for each collar they purchased. Claimants who provide proof of purchase can claim an unlimited number of collars, while claimants with no proof of purchase can claim only two collars per pet for a maximum payment of $26 per pet.
Class members whose pets were injured by the Seresto collars can receive a $25 payment for economic losses or 100% reimbursement for any documented out-of-pocket medical treatment costs.

My family and I and lots of our friends have used the seresto collars since they have come out on the market .no issues whatsoever. And just a side note I had a friend who used Frontline suppose to be safe right! Unfortunately the medication killed the muscle between her shoulders . So I suggests folks do not buy those cheap knock offs. Pay the 65. Bucks per collar. Definitely worth every penny.

I purchased a can containing two for $27, or so and put one one my dog, she was so sick a few hours later. I thought she was going to die! These are horrible@
If you got two for $27 that must mean that you bought a fake product. Try a registered retailer. China has knockoffs on Amazon and all over, these companies can’t go after them for copyright with them being overseas. The products used are different. I bought one each for all my animals just a week ago and paid approx $60 each. My pup did have a reaction to the registered collar by Seresto, not a knockoff.
Please add me. I use these for our 4 year old cat.
