Jimmy John’s has agreed to pay $975,000 to resolve claims it violated Washington law by failing to disclose wage scales and salary ranges in job listings.

The Jimmy John’s settlement benefits individuals who applied for a job opening in Washington with Sandwich SC LLC (doing business as Jimmy John’s) between Jan. 1, 2023, and Aug. 24, 2026, in response to a job posting that did not properly disclose the wage scale or salary range and/or a general description of benefits for the position and other compensation to be offered to the hired applicant.

The class action lawsuit claims that Jimmy John’s violated Washington law by failing to disclose wage scales and salary ranges in job postings. The plaintiff in the case claims he would not have applied for a job at Jimmy John’s if he had known the wage scales and salary ranges.

Jimmy John’s, a sandwich shop with locations across the country, has admitted no wrongdoing but agreed to a $975,000 class action settlement to resolve the allegations.

Under the terms of the Jimmy John’s settlement, class members will be eligible to receive an equal share of the net settlement fund. Exact payments will vary depending on the number of participating class members.

The deadline for objection and exclusion from the class action settlement is Nov. 13, 2026.

The final approval hearing for the settlement is scheduled for Jan. 22, 2027.

Class members who do not exclude themselves from the Jimmy John’s settlement do not need to file a claim to receive benefits. Class members who wish to update their mailing address can do so on the settlement website.
