Mt. Baker Imaging and Northwest Radiologists agreed to a $3.3 million class action settlement to resolve claims they failed to prevent a 2025 data breach.

The Mt. Baker Imaging settlement benefits individuals whose private information was potentially or actually compromised in the Mt. Baker Imaging and Northwest Radiologists data security incident that occurred between Jan. 20 and 25, 2025.

According to the Mt. Baker Imaging data breach class action lawsuit, Mt. Baker Imaging and Northwest Radiologists failed to implement reasonable cybersecurity measures that could have prevented a January 2025 data breach.

Mt. Baker Imaging and Northwest Radiologists are medical imaging and radiology companies that provide services in Washington.

The defendants have not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $3.3 million class action settlement to resolve the Mt. Baker Imaging data breach allegations.

Under the terms of the Mt. Baker Imaging settlement, class members can receive reimbursement for documented out-of-pocket expenses related to the data breach. These expenses can include bank fees, professional expenses, unreimbursed fraud losses, credit monitoring expenses, mileage, travel-related charges, communication fees and more. The settlement allows for up to $5,000 in reimbursement for these expenses.

Class members can also receive a pro rata cash fund payment. The amount will vary depending on the number of participating class members.

Class members can also receive two years of medical identity theft protection and monitoring through CyEx. This service includes single-bureau credit monitoring and medical information protection.

The deadline for exclusion and objection is July 20, 2026.

The final approval hearing for the Mt. Baker Imaging data breach settlement is scheduled for Aug. 21, 2026.

To receive settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by Aug. 19, 2026.


Who’s Eligible

The class action settlement benefits individuals whose private information was potentially or actually compromised in the Mt. Baker Imaging and Northwest Radiologists data breach that occurred between Jan. 20 and 25, 2025.

Potential Award

Up to $5,000 for out-of-pocket losses and a pro rata cash fund payment.

Proof of Purchase

Documentation of losses, such as bank statements, credit card statements and receipts.
