A federal judge has preliminarily approved a $9 million settlement in the Sensa Weight Loss System class action lawsuit we first told you about in April 2011. If granted final approval, the Sensa class action settlement will provide up to $6 million in refunds to consumers who purchased Sensa prior to August 21, 2012 and who submit a claim form by the deadline of December 13, 2012.
The Sensa weight loss settlement will resolve a false advertising class action lawsuit, entitled Correa v. Sensa Products, LLC, that alleges Sensa tricked consumers into buying its “weight-loss” crystals by using marketing claims not backed by scientific proof. Sensa denies these allegations and contends that its marketing claims are substantiated by three product studies and scientific research regarding neurology and the science of smell and taste, but has agreed to a class action lawsuit settlement to avoid the expense of ongoing litigation.
Class Members of the Sensa class action settlement include all U.S. consumers who purchased Sensa prior to August 21, 2012. If the court grants final approval to the Sensa settlement at the November 7, 2012 Final Fairness Hearing, Class Members who submit a Claim Form will receive a share of the $6 million settlement fund. The amount of money you will receive from the Sensa settlement will depend on, among other things, how many of the 2.6 million Class Members submit a timely and valid Claim Form.
Claim Forms must be submitted online at www.WeightLossSettlement.com or to the Settlement Administrator postmarked no later than December 13, 2012.

I have been taking g it since March and I haven’t lost a pound yet very upset with the product
after taking senca for a few days my taste buds were gone i couldn,t cook for anybody everthing tasted the same like crap i guess this would be ok if you were cooking for just you.but not a good thing if you do alot of cooking you have know idea what the food your cooking taste like .and i took a few weeks for my taste to come back
THIS STUFF DID NOTHING FOR ME.I DID EVERY THING THEY SAID TO DO.IF ANY THING I GAINED FIVE POUNDS
I have tried several diets, and none worked. So my husband seen this advertised and ordered it for me, i tried it faithfully for 3 months and nothing happened but i got sever diahrea and ended up dehydrating and my potasuim really dropped, i was to scared to reorder anymore. Once i stopped my my stomache and the potasium level came back to normal. It was a waste of money and cost me more to get my life back on a regular schedule.

I tried this weight loss product and I got the worse stomach ache I have ever had. So I tried it again and wow talk about a stomach ache! Ended up throwing away the whole system cause I ddid not want to give it to anyone because of the stomach distress…just pitched it. I do not know if anyone else had that problem but was a TOTAL waste of money!
i have been on sensa several different times a total of 3 time each time i was thinking maybe i was not doing it right so i would try it again, but it did not work for me! the first time sprinkle on food eat and then i would eat the full plate after about 20min i would be eating again sprinkle again still be hungry! i have given each time 3 months each. i like the fact that all u have to do is sprinkle love that, but whats wrong? even being consistent on the product which i was told u have remember to put it on everything which i did

Boy are you wrong Ed. I used this product for a few months and I was never notified of a law suit. Why is that Sensa? I ordered directly from them so they have my information from back in 2009.

I also was on Sensa – last year 2013 – I never lost any weight, had to change my debit card info to keep them from charging me again and I did not get a notification either….now it appears to be to late.
just found out there was a lawsuit a few days ago. I used it for 6 months in 2012 and canceled it. a joke
today is the first I heard of a law suit. I tried it over the summer and it did nothing for me.
I received Sensa by mail. I was on it for 2 months or more.
I submitted my proper form and completed it properly. I purchased the entire system from them and I have never received anything from the class action law suit!!!!!! so don’t feel bad about not knowing about the lawsuit, I knew about it, exactly what I was told to do and have not 1 penny to show for the loss of several hundreds of dollars through the purchase of their fraudulent product!
My sis just received her check last week. December 2014. So there still may be hope of getting yours. Mine hasn’t come either.
I am with you, Claudia I first heard of the lawsuit on GMA and have been waiting for info…now it seems I am too late. What happened here?
I missed the deadline. I did not know about the settlement. I had numerous problems trying to cancel the crap as many did. Has anyone found another recourse to follow????

I followed the directions carefully on sensa but with no results. I called them wanted my money back and got not results with them. Its a scammmmmm.
I would be very interested to know what Sensa is make up of. Is there any potassium in it? I don’t understand why it is still being advertised as recent as today. I am an R.N. and just as anxious to lose weight. Beyond Diet has been a great reference for me and I am now attending a three months session with a Diet workshop – not advertised on tv. Two ladies who are certified dietician with tons of experience and their own massive weight loss. One that has lost over 100 lbs. That gives me encouragement. I feel so motivated already because of the way I am treated. Finally, I may have a chance!!! Wishing the same for all of you. I`ll keep you posted. So far I`ve lost 12 lbs. but just beginning with another 90 or so to go! Wish me luck – this time I`m not stopping!!!!

I was told today by a REPRESENTATIVE that checks will be mailed by the “middle” of FEBRUARY! !!!! They didnt give an amount….
