De Beers Diamond Class Action Lawsuit Settlement Approved
By Scott Hardy
Â
The De Beers diamond class action lawsuit has been hotly contested and delayed by challenges, appeals and extensive litigation but it has finally been approved. We received word about this, not from the attorneys working the case, but from Top Class Actions viewer Mary S. who noticed the change on the Settlement Administrator’s website. Remember, you the viewer, help make Top Class Actions what it is by your comments on our lawsuit pages, the claims you submit to settlement administrators, and the lawsuit information you submit to us.Â

@VLParadise – you can contact the claim administrator via the https://diamondsclassaction.com/ website and they can update your mailing address.
So now what do we do? Times are rough, financially. Had to relocate and did not provide my change of address…Probably shouldn’t hold my breath.
The big win here is the fact that someone stepped up to the plate and invested hundreds of thousands of dollars of their own money to sue these cheating scumbags! The attorneys deserve every penny they get for gambling on a win or lose basis! If I get nothing for my 15,000 dollars in diamonds, I’ll be happy when the cheaters pay someone, anyone for their hard work!!!
I agree with Larry, I bet it will take many months before we hear anything more. The legal fees will be paid first. Don’t expect much from this.
I sent my documentation in on February 2008. I had about $3,000 worth of Jewelry I purchased. I could sure use that money ASAP. How much more Red Tape do we have to go through!
I sent my claim form in, in plenty of time, (two ways with documentation) and I have not heard or seen anything since that point. Will it take years to be contacted? It’s over three and a half years since I sent in the claim form>>> I would recommend no body holding their breath.
Well, its ABOUT TIME! I have followed this case since it first appeared!! An it better be more than $10 bucks! I know what we paid for MY RING, and we better get more than that! (Unless of course all the money has been eaten up by the attornyes!) ANY ck in the mail would be wonderful tho!! I will post if and when i get mine!!
Good news! Due to economy I’m only working part time and any settlement amount will be helpful. Thanks for keeping us posted :-)
Ok, now when are we getting that big ck for $10 or are they going to send us a letter saying that it has been given to charity in our name……LOL
change of email address (wwwelch@zoominternet.net) instead of (whtspitz@zoominternet.net). Please send information to William Welch
