Charlotte Russe Class Action Lawsuit Settlement

A federal judge last week approved a class action lawsuit settlement between women’s clothing retailer Charlotte Russe Inc. and customers who say they were asked to provide their email addresses and other information during credit card transactions. If you made a credit card purchase at a California Charlotte Russe store between August 26, 2010 and March 14, 2013, you may be eligible to receive a merchandise voucher from the class action settlement.

The Charlotte Russe settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit (Orozco v. Charlotte Russe Inc.) that alleges the clothing retailer violated California law by requesting and recording personal identification information from customers, including but not limited to email addresses, during credit card transactions.

Charlotte Russe denies any wrongdoing but has agreed to a class action lawsuit settlement to resolve the litigation.

Class Members include all persons who made a credit card purchase at a California Charlotte Russe store between August 26, 2010 and March 14, 2013 and whose personal identification information was requested and recorded by Charlotte Russe.

Class Members who submit a timely and valid Claim Form are eligible to receive their choice of a Voucher for either $10 off of any merchandise purchase (no minimum purchase required) or 20% off of any merchandise purchase (no cap).

The only way to receive a voucher from the class action settlement is to submit a valid Claim Form online at www.OrozcoSettlement.com or mailed to the Settlement Administrator on or before August 26, 2013.
